Trust us, we know trout spey rods, casting and equipment can seem overwhelming, but, it doesn’t have to be! Here at ANGLERS, the swung fly is one of our favorites and we’d love to share our experience with you.

Instead of dozens of hours on YouTube, reading old books or stressing trying to decide if you’re curious enough to invest in a new setup, at Trout Spey Day(s), you’ll learn:

• History and modern applications of spey casting.

• Fishing Techniques (Sunk fly, Wet fly, Greased Line, Dry Flies, Streamers and Soft Hackles)

• Casting. (Skagit, Scandi lines with Waterborne anchors, airborne anchors)

• Rigging up your trout spey rod (reels, rigging, lines, tippet)

• Using trout spey flies ( soft hackles, nymphs, streamers, dry flies, wet flies)

TROUT SPEY DAY(S) CLASS INCLUDES: ONE 1/2 PRICED PRIVATE SPEY CASTING LESSON WITH DANIEL FROM SWING THE FLY

NO EXPERIENCE OR EQUIPMENT REQUIRED.

Cost: Classes are $90 dollars for one 4-5 hour course. Payment required by 6 PM, Wednesday, March 27th.
